News for schools and teachers

IDEAS' conference Making the Global Journey to Excellence, co-hosted by LTS, was held on the 5th June with around 120 people in attendance.

Learning and Teaching Scotland has a new International Education section on their website.

The April 2007 issue of Stride will be themed around slavery and the bicentenary of the abolition of the slave trade. It will also contain a look at the global dimension of science teaching, activities to try out in the classroom and information about upcoming events and projects.

A new Resources for Scottish Education catalogue supplement has been sent out to all schools in Scotland.
