Building Bridges East – West:

an International Symposium on Education in Taiwan and Scotland with a focus on raising achievement

A two-day international symposium has been organised in the Faculty of Education, University of Glasgow on 21-22 August 2008. Over the two days, six professors from two universities in Taiwan will be addressing the symposium including Professor Chin-Chung Tsai of the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, who is a world-class figure in Science Education. There will be ample time for questions and discussion both in the plenary events and the workshops. There will also be an opportunity to hear about the exchange scheme jointly run by the Royal Society of Edinburgh and the National Scientific Council of Taiwan.
