Children's Rights - Looking Ahead with 2020 Vision

Twenty years ago, the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) was adopted by the UN General Assembly. Over the last two decades, understanding of the UNCRC has developed and deepened. The Scottish Government recently make a series of promises in response to the UN Concluding Observations about children's rights here today.
