Members offer a range of services: projects and workshops with community groups, community led courses and initiatives, workshops for youth groups, training for community educators, youth workers, students and voluntary sector staff. Projects, workshops, courses and training cover a wide range of global citizenship themes including:
- Fair trade and trade justice
- Climate change and the environment
- Human rights
- Sustainable development
- Local community issues and global parallels
- Violence and peace
- Agriculture
IDEAS members are also involved in linking projects between local communities in Scotland and local communities in Africa and South America.
As a network, members come together to share good practice and find new opportunities for collaborative and partnership working.
