New resource explores climate justice

Christian Aid Scotland has just produced a new 'Window on the World' resource for primary schools, exploring the theme of climate justice both overseas and at home.

Using photographs, pupils can virtually visit three countries - Bolivia, Mali and Haiti - where climate change is impacting directly on people’s lives and find out how those communities are being supported to build resilience.

The resource also investigates themes of justice - how Western countries such as Scotland that were involved in creating climate problems now bear a responsibility for finding solutions. It suggests that pupils can lobby banks and politicians to create positive change.
