Chance to feed into Holyrood consultation

Organisations with an interest in promoting global citizenship education and rights have the chance to flag up the importance of the subject as part of a Scottish Parliament consultation exercise.

Holyrood's Education and Skills Committee plans to host a round-table discussion on Personal and Social Education (PSE) on Wednesday 22 February.

The committee has therefore launched a consultation, looking for responses to the question ‘What should personal and social education sessions be about?’.

"The Committee wants to understand what the main issues are in relation to the content and delivery of PSE. This is likely to be a wide-ranging session and will help the Committee to decide what further work it may do on this topic."

The consultation is online at http://www.parliament.scot/parliamentarybusiness/CurrentCommittees/103227.aspx and the closing date for submissions is Monday 13 February 2017.
