Classroom resources are a useful way for teachers and other educators to refresh their classroom practice, address current issues and explore new topic areas.

Resources for education for global citizenship and development education focus on participative, active learning and may cover specific countries or regions as well as themes such ashuman rights, peace and conflict, slavery, food, sustainable development, climate change, equality and diversity, justice and equity

Many IDEAS members produce resources and where a specific need is identified they often work together to develop new ones.

The Development Education Centres provide an easy access point for resources relevant to the Scottish curriculum produced by IDEAS members and others. Many resources are now available on-line only, but the DECs also hold libraries of print resources that can be borrowed. They can also advise on suitable resources by level, curriculum area, school subject and theme.

Stride magazine also features a resources section tied in to the themes explored in each issue.
