Location

IDEAS is based in the very heart of Edinburgh. Princes House is at 5 Shandwick Place, at the West End of Princes Street (entrance between the Lothian Buses travelshop and the Subway sandwich store). There is a buzzer for IDEAS at the building's entrance. We are in rooms T14 and T15 on the 3rd floor.

Bus: Most buses stop on or near Princes House; see the city centre routes on the Lothian Buses website.

Train: We are approximately 10 minutes' walk from Haymarket Station, along Maitland St then Shandwick Place. Alternatively, we are about a 15 minute walk, along Princes St, from Waverley Station.

Car: Metered parking spaces are available on Castle Terrace, see map.

Airport: The airport bus (100), runs every 15 mins and stops at Shandwick Place. The journey takes under half an hour.
